This Privacy Policy describes how FinCalcHub Marketing ("FinCalcHub", "we", "us") handles information when you use our website at fincalchub.xyz.
1. Information Processing
Calculator Inputs: All calculator computations are performed client-side in your web browser. Your inputs (amounts, rates, durations) are processed locally and are not transmitted to our servers during calculation. All mathematical functions execute strictly client-side on the user's local browser instance. The Simple and Scientific calculator modules are available directly on the main calculator page.
Cryptocurrency Prices: The Crypto Converter tool makes requests to the CoinGecko public API (api.coingecko.com) to fetch live market prices. When this occurs, your IP address and request details are processed by CoinGecko according to their privacy policy.
2. Browser Local Storage
When you use the "Save" button on supported calculators (Compound Interest, SIP, RoAS, Income Tax), your input values are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data:
- Remains on your device only
- Is not transmitted to any server
- Can be cleared at any time through your browser settings
- Is automatically cleared after 30 days by the application logic
Session storage is also used to temporarily persist calculator inputs during your browsing session. This is cleared when you close the browser tab.
Cryptocurrency price data is cached in localStorage for up to 1 hour to reduce API calls and improve load times.
3. Analytics
FinCalcHub uses Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to collect anonymized usage data including:
- Pages visited and time spent on pages
- General geographic region (country/city level)
- Device type and browser information
- Traffic source (how you arrived at the site)
Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymization. This data is collected by Google according to their privacy policy and data processing terms.
4. Cloudflare
FinCalcHub is hosted behind Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare may process:
- Your IP address for security and DDoS protection
- Web Analytics data (if Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled)
- Request logs for abuse prevention
Cloudflare's privacy practices are governed by their privacy policy.
5. Cookies
FinCalcHub does not set its own cookies. However, third-party services may set cookies:
- Google Analytics/Tag Manager — May set cookies for analytics tracking
- Cloudflare — May set essential cookies for security and performance
6. Advertising
FinCalcHub currently does not display advertisements. If advertising services (such as Google AdSense) are implemented in the future, those services may use cookies and collect data according to their respective privacy policies. This Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
7. Third-Party Services
The following third-party services are integrated:
- CoinGecko API — Provides live cryptocurrency price data
- Google Fonts — Serves the Inter typeface
- Google Tag Manager / Analytics — Usage analytics
- Cloudflare — CDN, security, and hosting infrastructure
- jsPDF / SheetJS (CDN) — Loaded on-demand for PDF/XLSX export
- Chart.js (CDN) — Loaded on-demand for investment charts
Each service processes data according to its own privacy policy.
8. Data Security
The website uses HTTPS encryption for all connections. Since calculations occur client-side, your financial inputs are never transmitted to our servers, reducing exposure to server-side data breaches.
9. Children's Privacy
FinCalcHub is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
10. Your Choices
- You can clear localStorage and session storage through your browser settings at any time
- You can use browser extensions to block analytics scripts
- You can use private/incognito browsing mode to prevent persistent storage
- You can contact us to request deletion of any data associated with your usage
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
